According to the reliable resources, the company is also working to develop a Universal Window Platform (UWP) app besides the new multi-platform system that would work even if your mobile phone is off.
Altogether this multi-platform system also work in synchronization with whats app UWP, means a user can access their whats app account to multiple devices at a time.
