Reliance Jio is going to offer family plans that let users share a single data plan. And have a single bill for all jio mobile connections at home.
Mukesh Ambani at the 42nd Annual General Meeting of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has announced the Jio Fiber home broadband services will be rolled out commercially on 5th September 2019. The subscription plans will range from Rs 700 per month to Rs. 10,000 per month for data speed from 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps. The basic plan will come with 100 Mbps here.
Company has confirmed that Jio Fiber will be bundled with different services and value additions. Very soon first-day first show movies plan will come after it and voice call from Jio fibre fixed line will be free. Jio Postpaid Plus is a value-added service, which is for mobile services as well.
The Jio Fiber broadband users will be eligible for this Jio Postpaid Plus offer, depending upon the subscription plan they register or sign up for. In this service, if you want to buy a new Jio mobile connection or port or switch from your existing mobile connection to Jio, you will get the priority services at your doorstep to configure your SIM card and activation of the connection.
In another service, Users will get family plans that will let family members share a single data plan. And have a single bill for all Jio mobile connections in the family. Now they have announced that this will be a plan for ISD calls in which fixed amount will be charged for unlimited ISD calls.
Reliance Jio has already hit 340 million subscriber base and has become the biggest telco in India. This has make Jio the biggest network in the country in terms of subscribers, revenue as well as profits. And now Jio has become the second biggest network in the world.
Mukesh Ambani added that Jio is adding 10 million new subscribers every month. At this pace, the numbers could reach a target of 500 million customers very soon.
